Welcome to the Bell Family Company community. As a valued current or past Family Care Provider (Provider), your participation in our placement services is guided by the following expectations and guidelines.
Bell Family holds a unique position in the marketplace as the sole members-only referral network providing hand-selected, trust- and safety-verified Family Care Providers to Clients across the U.S.A. We have found that the most effective way to preserve the quality of our network is to rely on the good judgment of our current Family Care Providers. Therefore, all new Family Care Providers must apply with a referral from a current Member Family, Family Care Provider, headquarters, or preferred partner.
Professional Conduct & Appearance
- Wear attire that is both childcare-friendly and professional. First impressions matter, so look presentable for the Client.
- Providers promise to provide loving, nurturing, and safe care to all children. If something seems off in the home, or if you sense something is wrong with a child, speak up. If you are unsure how to handle a situation, contact us for guidance. In emergencies, call 9-1-1.
Scheduling & Cancellations
- Cancellation Policy: We have ZERO tolerance for no-shows. If you need to cancel, email us at least 24 hours’ notice. We understand things come up, but 24 hours is a courteous timeframe to provide notice.
- All on-demand booking appointments and nanny trials are confirmed via the Company’s online booking platform. Appointments and trials are paid by the Family/Client to the Provider at the end of each session via Stripe. Providers agree to always notify us of any booking or placement and to our market rates upon applying. For current minimum trial rates, email us.
Referrals & Applications
- Family Care Providers can invite new Providers by sending a referral code from their profile page; however, this does not guarantee entry into our organization.
- Upon receiving a new Provider’s application, we consider referral source, childcare experience, reference checks, legal status, and results from our proprietary phone and face-to-face assessments to accept or reject the application.
- Upon acceptance, Providers are expected to:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date profile, including availability, experience, and payment information
- Accept and complete all bookings exclusively through Bell Family Company (absolutely no off-platform arrangements or direct bookings with Clients)
- Be reliable, punctual, and fully prepared for each appointment, including following all job details as provided by the Client
- Communicate promptly and professionally with Bell Family Company and Clients regarding bookings or changes
- Uphold high standards of professionalism, including respectful, appropriate conduct toward Bell Family staff, consultants, families, Clients and fellow providers
- Follow all Bell Family Company policies, including cancellation, checkout, and payment procedures
Compliance & Conduct Standards
- Failure to comply with these standards will generally result in one (1) warning before expulsion.
- If any act endangers the emotional well-being or physical safety of a Client, child, Caregiver, Bell Family Employee, or other associated party, immediate expulsion may be considered.
- Bell Family retains sole and final judgment in all such matters.
