A Temporary Nanny is a placement typically between a one week and three months in duration. The nanny works set daytime or overnight hours in a family’s home, for a traveling family staying at a hotel, or for families on business trips. These nannies are placed to fill that temporary amount of time that a family needs childcare coverage. Temporary Nannies provide the individual assistance and care needed to alleviate the stress associated with new surroundings. An example of a Temporary Nanny position would be hiring a nanny for two months Monday-Friday for 8 hours/day while being relocated to NYC on business with your child.

A Summer Nanny works in a family’s home either as live-out or live-in, full-time or part-time for the summer months (some time between Memorial Day-Labor Day). Our summer nannies are college educated, have a driver’s license to drive the children in the family vehicle, are energetic, loving and fun! The nanny can travel with the family, assist with camp pick-ups and drop-offs, mealtime preparation, plan and play activities, take to the beach, go on a walk/hike and much more. Summer nannies are great for families with kids home for the summer, but who are not yet ready for the commitment of a year-round nanny.
